Emergencies We Treat, Often the Same Day
From sudden tooth pain to dental injuries, we handle the full range of emergency situations, and most can be diagnosed and treated in a single visit.
Severe Toothache
Persistent or sharp tooth pain often signals infection or nerve damage. We diagnose the cause quickly and, in most cases, start treatment the same visit.
Broken or Cracked Tooth
Whether from a fall, a sports injury, or biting down wrong, we restore broken and cracked teeth quickly. Same-day restorative options available, including bonding, crowns, and onlays when appropriate.
Crown or Filling Fell Off
Bring the crown with you if you have it. We can often re-cement the original or place a replacement the same day so you're not walking around with an exposed tooth.
Knocked-Out Tooth
Time matters. Get to us within an hour and there's a strong chance we can save and re-implant your natural tooth.
Swelling or Infection
Facial swelling or a dental abscess needs urgent dental care to keep the infection from spreading. We start antibiotics, drainage, or root canal therapy the same visit when needed.
What to Expect When You Call
Call
We get you in ASAP, often the same day.
Exam
Digital imaging quickly pinpoints the issue.
Relief
Immediate pain control to make you comfortable.
Treat
We don't just diagnose. Most patients leave the same day with the problem resolved or treatment actively underway.
Why Acting Fast Matters
Putting off emergency dental care almost always makes things worse. Delaying treatment can lead to:
- More intense tooth pain
- Infection spreading to other parts of the body
- Tooth loss that could have been prevented
- Higher treatment costs down the road
The sooner you call, the more options we have to save your tooth and protect your health.

Comfort Options Available
Emergency visits can be stressful. To help you stay calm and comfortable, we offer:
- Nitrous oxide: a mild, fast-acting option to ease anxiety during treatment.
- Oral sedation: a take-before-you-arrive option for more relaxed care.
Just let us know when you call and we'll have what you need ready.
Insurance & Payment, Sorted Before You Sit Down
Worrying about cost shouldn't get in the way of treatment. We work with most PPO insurance plans, verify your benefits before you arrive, and help you maximize what's covered. For anything not covered, we offer flexible payment options so you can focus on getting out of pain, not on paperwork.

FAQs on Emergency Dentistry
Quick answers to the questions we hear most often during a dental emergency.
Anything involving severe pain, bleeding, swelling, a knocked-out or broken tooth, or a lost crown or filling generally qualifies. If you're unsure, call us — we'll help you decide whether you need to come in right away or whether it can wait until morning.
Yes. We reserve time in our schedule each day specifically for emergency patients. Call as early as possible and we'll do everything we can to see you the same day.
Bring the crown with you if you have it. We can often re-cement the original the same day. If it can't be saved or you've lost it, we'll fit a replacement crown as quickly as possible. In the meantime, avoid chewing on that side and keep the tooth clean.
Pick up the tooth by the crown (not the root), gently rinse it without scrubbing, and if possible, place it back in the socket. If you can't, store it in milk or saliva and call us immediately. We have the best chance to save the tooth within the first hour.
Rinse your mouth with warm salt water, take an over-the-counter pain reliever as directed, and apply a cold compress to the outside of your face if there's swelling. Don't place aspirin directly on the gum — it can cause irritation.
Yes. We work with most PPO insurance plans and will verify your benefits before treatment. If you don't have insurance, we also offer flexible payment options to help make care affordable.
